I'm a semi-retired Southern Gentleman from New Orleans and I'm in search of someone who has the spark to set a friendship on fire. Let's start by dating and if it works into something long term that would be wonderful.

I'm well educated, well traveled, and $$$ secure. I've never married (but have been in several LTRs lasting over 5 years) and have no children (raised three during LTRs). () are for those who ASSuME that "never married" means "single" and that "no children" means I've never been a responsible father figure. BTW I'm still friends with all my ex-girlfriends and I've always left them better off than I found them.

Right now, I'm looking for a recreational activity and travel partner who shares the same interests. Someone who has time for a relationship. Someone who works to live, not lives to work.
