Author Looking For Childfree Scenario I'm a writer, with five books published since 2008, and another about ready to go to the publisher. Been dabbling with various dating sites on and off for awhile, and, up until now, it's been pretty much impossible to find a site where there were actual living, breathing women who didn't have kids. And even the ones who didn't have them, made it very clear that they wanted some!

I'm divorced, I don't smoke or drink or use any drugs -- got all that out of my system by the time I was 22, and I won't be using any of that stuff anymore. I studied psychology for 7 years, and was involved in music for awhile. I also enjoy playing baseball & softball in the summer, and hockey in the winter. But I have no interest in most of the standard "guy stuff," like working on cars or fishing/hunting or going to bars.

I'm looking for someone who is a good communicator, someone who understands the creative process (because writing is important to me and I have no intention of quitting), someone with a good sense of humor. I don't care if she smokes, that has never bothered me, but I definitely will not date a drinker or a drug user. Been there, done that, lost too many people I loved.

My biggest issue, in my past relationships, has been that my girlfriends always started out saying "I love everything about you!" -- and then, three months down the road, they decided they needed to CHANGE everything about me. This generally meant they wanted to "domesticate" me -- turn me into some sort of farm animal or sitcom dad, which, of course, I have absolutely no interest in being!

I suppose the bottom line is I would like to meet someone who can accept me as I am -- a non-breeder, a writer; basically, just a more-or-less normal guy who doesn't want the baggage of reproduction hanging over his head (and other parts).
