Looking for a life partner I have a passion to help the less fortunate and to give people the tools they need to help themselves into a better life. I'm very liberal, but enjoy conversing with anyone with an open mind, even if we don't see eye to eye. In fact, I love debate- not arguing, but challenging my and other's views and seeking to understand each other. As for activities, I enjoy going outside whenever the weather is agreeable. I snowboard and love to swim. I'm a short-distance bike commuter without a car. I LOVE Sacramento because of the proximity to everything and because all of the various cultures and arts. I'm big on festivals, museums, art, theatre and dancing (I dance a little East Coast and West Coast Swing, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Argentine Tango and American Waltz, but also enjoy freestyle and mix in some Hula and Egyptian Bellydancing moves). I also enjoy live music, movies, board games, day hikes, tent camping and road trips. I love to travel and will go just about anywhere.

I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian and ethical consumer (I love animals) with three cats and a dog. I live alone and am hoping to buy the little house I currently rent. I'm spiritual and pagan.

I take good care of my health. I'm not an athlete, yogi or health food guru, but I make sure to exercise and eat proportionally. However, I'm also a foodie and LOVE good food. I'm not above a slice of chocolate cake and I refuse to eat diet products. I've always been drug-free, don't smoke and don't indulge in alcohol often, but also don't mind a glass of wine or a pint of good beer.

I work for a non-profit, volunteer with a couple other organizations and am going back to school. I'm majoring in Languages, working on mastering the six main Romance languages.

I'm looking for someone to share my life with who does not want children, has many of the same core values and enjoys traveling. It's okay if you like them, but you don't want to raise any of your own.
