never wanted kids I have never wanted kids and find them boring and a bane to the planet. I love to hike and explore wilder places and to chat with rural people in the areas I travel. I enjoy reading and staying at home, but do look forward to an annual adventure, and would like the company of a best friend to adventure or relax with. I have a wide sense of humor and appreciate that in others. I do not want to deal with a man who feels his cell phone is a necessary tumor in his pants pocket. I find many folks without kids have dog children instead, who are equally undisciplined and out-of-control, and I don't want to deal with that type of kid either. I especially like cats, chickens, and horses. Country life has suited me best, but there are some great cities I have and could reside in.
Let's see: you know and like who you are, are not socially inept, but not constantly craving the social life either. It's my belief that everyone should have their own personal interests and friends, but at the same time, when 2 people come together as friends and more, they should each be the primary interest of the other. No over sensitivity please, but someone who laughs well and easily. I don't appreciate easy jealousy, as I am not a jealous sort. Simply put, I love enjoying life and would like someone to share life's moments.
Since there was no place to put 'age preference' I am 42 and prefer men in my age group, say 39-50.
